I've been driving by these farmer stands, I need to get me some of that shit too and grill it up.

i'm from a small town in IA.

let's just say that i know me some ****ing amazing sweetcorn.

the stuff you buy in IL isn't real corn.

nows the time of year when I can get some awesome local sweet corn. Boil for 6 mins and enjoy. Alternatively soak overnight and throw on the grill husk and all.

i usually boil for 8-10 minutes, depending on the size of the corn.

not too much water though, you only want to cover the corn.
