Cause you suck! Check your cookies and what not, might not be registering.

I log in it sayes welcome guest. Then i go to the forums my name is at the bottome as one of the logged in people. Yet i see no yellow notices of where someone posted. Plus i can not post or check my profile without logging in again. Then i still can't see what was posted since my last time on.

I really wish I knew what to tell you, but no matter what I do, on which PC I try it on, I can't reproduce anything.

The only suggestions I can provide is to do the following to try to "flush" everything out:

#1) Login
#2) Logout
#3) Close and reopen browser to about:blank or something other non-Gamehavoc.com site
#4) Clear cookies (Or manually delete the one for Gamehavoc.com, if it exists) and temporary internet files
#5) Close, reopen browser, comes to GH, and try logging in again.

That's all I know to do. There's nothing server side about it. Your user profile has the correct dates, etc, and cookies are only stored on your PC, not the server.

Someone who's having this issue send me a PM on IRC. Stay on IRC if you can. I'll be home around 5pm EST and we'll see if we can't figure out what's happening.

Ferret, I hope this helps

I got mine to work after clearing the GH cookies only! It's related to the time change because I chaned the time in my profile then things stopped working but I didn't correlate it to the time. Then you recently changed the time too so it may have had some bavaior issue. Maybe if I didn't screw around with the GMT thingy your last change of time would have been alright! :-)

I'm good now tho.

I was having the same problem on my home pc. I'm on the road now and using my laptop. I do not have the problem here. I auto-log on every time so far. I don't know if the time-glitch had anything to do with it or not. I will find out if the problem still exists on my home pc when I get there tomorrow night.

Ok, I'm home and the problem still exists. But I have noticed a few things:

1- Every time I exit IE and revisit the site I have to log back in (again, only place this happens to me)

2- If I use 'Post Reply' as opposed to 'Quick Reply' it doesn't log me out.

3- If I DO use 'Quick Reply' I get logged out, BUT if I then click 'back' on my browser I will then be logged in and can continue as usual... that is until I leave IE... then see #1.

Dunno if this helps...

Getting logged out when leaving IE is definately a cookie problem.

I'll research the quick reply though..

I did that 2 times already. Is there a Procedure or something that I'm not following? A secret handshake I don't know about? And why is this problem not showing up on ANY other forum I am a member of?
