Devil May Cry 4

I played the demo when it hit a couple months back, but when it was released I was still heavy into wow. After rocking the viking game, I thought I'd pick this up, because the demo was great and the DMC series has always been quality.

This hasn't dissapointed so far. It's hard as balls, I can spend an hour trying to do a secret mission for one stupid blue orb, the boss fights are epic, the cut scenese awesome, and the graphics are ****ing sweet.

Oh, and the camera angles are just as gay and annoying as the other games.

Looks like i'm in for the long haul on this one.

To much button mashing. I almost lost my fingers... I returned it back to game fly after only playing the first tutorial mission. It was interesting.. but the story and all that was too epic for my simple needs.

The intro was longer than the time that I played lmao... Also I never played any of the previous games. Wanted to but no PS2

if you haven't played any of the other Devil May Cry, then it might not make a whole lot of sense to you. Those of us who have played the rest of the games can get into it easier.

It's basically simple game, that lets you have a lot of freedom with combos etc. My roomate started it on 'human' level, and it looked so easy, i'm doing it on devil hunter. The devil bringer is really kind of cheats, simply because it does so much ridiculous damage. And I don't really understand why they included the whole 'motorcycle' sword mechanic, since you can't really do it in combat, so it seems a waste.

Other than that, all of the basic DMC mechanics are there (basically, hitting things with your sword until something happens).

And the intro cut scene is way bad ass.

Watching Dante vs. Nero made me realize that a well done DMC movie could be pretty cool. Vigo Mortenson as dante imo.

i've been side tracked by wow lately, so this has actually been on hold.

my advice, rent to see if you like it, but be prepared to buy it, as these games take some time.

i picked this up after playing one level at a friends house. its been really fun so far.

those of you who play this game with the auto timing on are sissies. end of story.

(learning the timing yourself makes the game much more rewarding)
