Elite Warriors

Can someone tell me what an elite warrior is. I tried to face one of the elite wolf guys (cant remember name) only 1 lvl above me and he absolutely owned me.

Elite is simply a classification of rank inside of a level. Elite guys will fight as though they are atleast 3-4 levels above you if you are 1 level below them. They also have more hitpoints, so it makes them retardedly tough in some cases. Anytime you are going to be fighting something that includes elites, I would strongly suggest getting some assistance from several people. We regularly have our guild grouping of 5 people to do elite quests.

Elite NPCs are basicly exactly that.. Super NPCs. They're meant for special quests and generally require a group of 2 if not 3 to take down if you're the same level.

Ie: If you can easily whup a level 10 npc as level 10 npc, a level 10 elite NPC is like fighting a level 15 npc.

That's not a perfect example, but the idea is sound. Elite = Whupass

with Elites they bump up the armor, resistance, and hit points if i recall hearing this right.

Aaaaaah! I remember when I was level 22, I couldn't kill an elite level 14 solo!!!! Granted, I was a priestess and hadn't gotten the majority of my awsm spells, but elites suck!!! Haha. On the contrary, they drop phat loot.

Ummm, I'm soloing level 25/26 elites right now, and I'm only a level 23 Paladin. Priests must have a really horrible time levelling.

This is why everyone can agree with me that Paladins are too powerful (and I dont mean with melee attacks).

I saw a vidoe once of a lvl 35 Human Paladin beating the crap out of two lvl 36 spider thingys and one lvl 35 at the same time.
I'll see if I can locate that...

I dont know what game u are playing but warriors do very minimal damage. They are tanks not attackers. When I said Paladins were powerful i mean they can heal ungodly amounts and can basicaly put a shield up to block ALL damage.

Paladins are the All-Powerful PVP class right now. I have watched dozens of PVP fights, and have never seen a paladin lose when fighting a character of roughly the same level. They have all the perks of a warrior and a priest. They can heal in the middle of a battle, and if god forbids they ever run out of mana, they can use Lay on Hands to restore back to full. Sadly, most of you are playing Horde and Shamans are much weaker than Paladins when it comes to PVP.

If you wanna see who's over powered... try playing an orc rogue... due to a nasty bug/exploit that hasn't been fixed much less addressed yet...

Well, it certainly was difficult when I was level 22. Now that I am 32, it's quite the contrary. Elites still prove to be more difficult because they dish more damage and have more hit points, but other than that it's very easy to be a priestess now. Especially with mind control. If I'm fighting Elites, I just take control of one of them and have it attack another Elite. Then the two are just duking it out until they kill each other. It's humorous, AND efficient! In addition, later in PvP it gets very hard to kill a priestess. Between screaming, DoT spells, healing, shielding (well, not anymore), will of the forsaken, and more, it is a great deal of fun =).
