Yo i just got the name about a week ago and i play on lightbringer and im alliance on laughing skulls. I suppose i could switch sides. Is the chat server in team speak2 for the hired assassins or the silvertalon private only or are all gh players welcome there? If so could i get the pass =)

So whats the difference between Laughing Skulls and Lightbringer if someone would please explain them?

Lightbringer is a PVE server.
Laughing skull is a PVP server.

PVE = no players can fight unless they both have designated them self to fight.
PVP = zones where your automatically allowed to be attacked.

basically in PVE you could go w/out ever having to fight another player if you wanted to.

In pvp, you could be doing your quest when along comes an alliance (or horde of you go alliance) and you begin to battle it out.

i like the pvp its fun. :)

I have a lvl 35 Warrior. Lvl 1-20 are ok, lvl 20-30 suck major, lvl 39+ was fun. Just realize that you are the slowest leveler when you solo. Every battle takes so long since you don't take much dmamadge and you dfon't give much damadge. Only play a warrior if you plan to always group.. If you do make it to lvl 60 after Priest Warriors are the most sought after (if only because so many people bore of the warrior before then)

Join the Capital guild.. A lot of us are in it. Blue, Canon, and some others. Once in that guild they might have a lowbie lvl..

hunters are very important... they are needed to take down one of the boss's in moulton core (a high lvl instance).

anway. msg forje in game and let him know your interested. recently he posted about a level 30 requirement for alts... i dont know how that pertains to mains thou :)

I find the server immensely fun. Last night we didn't do any instance, we just got the top 40 guys together in a raid and rode all over the Eastern Kingdoms.... slaughtering all in our path... 'cept the little guys. We'd dismount, sap 'em, stand around clapping at them and then ride off.

Then we rode right into some alliance city, Stromgrade I think, and got on the tram. I really think the developers put a lot more TLC into the Alliance-side. That's okay, though... I still got to see it and gank some flagged bitches in their own town. :)

Anyhow, I have a ton of fun on the server but it's largely dependant on who you spend your time with.

You're bringing me into this why? I have (had) level 30+ horde characters on another PvP server. I cancelled my account though, got to save money for when I'm out of work in August. Playing Guild Wars now. Free and plenty of pvp to be had, though of a different nature.

LS continues to suck, never did get better than 200 ping there. I left that server back when my highest character was level 12 and still in Durotar. Oh yes, gg, couldn't hack it.

Other 60's are the challenge, buddy. The whole ordeal up to 60, with 60's farming CPs was the challenge. CTF and Alterac Valley are the challenge.

I played both PvP and PvE, more or less equally. Some of us don't have time to put 40 hours a week into a game though, week after week, nor the money. After not playing for 4+ weeks, I cancelled the account.

Or maybe you are under the illusion that LS is the ONLY server that's PvP?

I was under the impression that you moved from LS to a PvE server where you lived out the rest of your WoW days. I could easily be wrong, but I distinctly remember you making arguments against PvP.

If I'm wrong, I apologize. Though, it seems to me that you spent a majority of your time on PvE if anything. That's fine, though... different people want different things from any game. Personally, I'm more attuned to the PvP element... despite having focused on PvE for gear until now.

I went to PvE due to family and friends playing there. I'll admit it is somewhat enjoyable to be able to focus on playing at times without constantly watching your back, but neither did I abandon PvP. I had PvP characters on another server, plus PvP'd quite a bit under PvE. The only element different about PvP there is that people can't just attack you out of the blue.

Raiding towns, and all that fun stuff, still occurs. But when you're ready to just go grind without a thought of watching your back, you can.

PS: I hate grinding.

I now play Darkspear (and you'll never guess which guild has invited me to join them ) :P i play LS with my tauren, Bonechewer with an UD ect so on and so forth i keep up fairly well especially on Darkspear. If anyone wants to play though jsut tell me when and i get on and play. And Ferret i tried the Lightbringers server but i just have more of a taste for the PvP server. Watching over your back is something that I like because it challenges me to become strong but to each his own w/e floats ur boat is good with me :)
