Has anyone seen the previews for this movie? I for one can not wait until it is released in the theaters. going to be like crouching tiger only more awesomer. lol.

negative. quentin tarintino to my knowledge just produced the USrelease. he didnt have a hand inthe movie i think.

btw: my bro's had the real dvd for over a year now. it's been released in china / elsewhere for over a year and a half or something.

QT has nothing to do with Hero other then using his name to help get the movie released in the states.

it is a great film. but not what you'll expect. these american trailers are so misleading. :P

Do yourself a favor... find somebody with a decent home theater, and then rent it from your local Hollywood Video (they usually have imports that Blockbusters doesn't). That, or hit up you local Chinatown, or Ebay search for Hero DVD. It's amazing, and definitely worth watching, I'm just not sure you'd want to wait for it, it's that good.

will it have american subtitiles? i tried to download it from suprnova but it came as an .OGM file and i dont know how to open it.

Yes, it will have English subtitles, and they will be readable and very accurate for the most part. If you already have the OGM, then just go and get XVID Keropi's Binary, and ogg vorbis codecs. Just play it in media player, or you can rename it to .avi and it should play once you get those codecs.

omg i want. i just watched the trailers and it's sooooo good. when is it being released in theaters in the US? did i mention that zhang ziyi is hot?
