Pretty fun so far, rented it to see if it would be worth buying.

It seems to be your standard JRPG, final fantasy style. It's a little too cartoony for me, but there are a lot of interesting mechanics that I like so far.

Anyone else played this?

Oh, and 3 bloody discs has me very afraid.

i've played it some more, and i'm really really torn.

On one hand, it's a really good final fantasy/chrono trigger old school RPG clone, complete with, well, everything. But with hi def graphics on a 360 etc.

On the other hand, the first monster I fought was called a 'poo snake' and happened to be a pink pile of... poo? The enemies continued to be lamer and lamer, and more multicolored. It also doesn't look like you can upgrade weapons, as you have these shadow things that fight for you? Or something?

Gah, they need to re-make and release FF VII for the 360. Or release FF XII for the 360. Or make a new good single player FF game for the 360.
