Well. Here comes some omg wtf posts but.
I started as a troll mage, and got to level 13. I decided I wanted to try the other classes before continuing so I could focus on the one I liked most. So now I have a level 6 character for every class but paladin (Because its alliance only) and priest (Because I simply have 0 interest in being a healer)
So now that I've played all 7 Horde classes that interest me?
I can't decide.
Each class is fairly unique with a differing play style. I found I liked many of the differences. I may literally play every character, one a day, and keep them roughly the same level. Crazy, I know.
I like my mage. He does a ton of damage at range, but his health is kinda low, have to make sure I don't challenge too many things at once. Shaman is completely overpowered.. I mean literally godlike. Awesome magic, good healing, good fighting, etc. Everything is good. I expect to see them nerfed some in the future. Rogue deals tons of close range melee damage and does it quickly, and its fun to sneak around and backstab, pick pocket, etc. Warriors have a unique system of skill charge that I found interesting, they do a good bit of damage (Not as much as rogue or mage though), and can take a beating. Hunter was pretty cool, less health than the warrior but decent at melee fighting and really good with ranged weapons. You also get a pet. Warlocks are cool, good DoT spells and damage spells, and a pet nearly right from the beginning that do a variety of things for you (Supposively the best solo class). Druid can fight decently well with fairly good health (Not as good attack/health as warrior though), and gets some offensive and defensive magic, very well rounded. They also get to morph into animals at higher levels.
Everything is cool, it just depends on how you want to play. There truly is no right or wrong with race or class selection (Except maybe priest, which is a primary healing character)
If you play on Laughing Skull, you'll need to be a Horde character to join the GH'ers. We're all Horde on that server.
So tonight I have to decide whether to play my level 13 mage, or one of my 6 level 6 characters. I'm leaning towards playing my rogue right now.

Ok, I think I'll be a Troll Priest if no one else is ?

arizona, if you go gnome or drawf, those are alliance classes and you wont be able to play with us...
if you want alliance thats great (im just letting you know). we are all horde. me and ferret (and clan HAD) play on the laughing skull server but princess and unrequited play on the malganis server (with S*F)
just an FYI.
