Sad but true!
Windows OS that use boot.ini get nailed if your game is installed to the same drive as the boot.ini lives on.
The reason being a typo in the patching software.
It deletes a file named 'boot.ini' which is part of the EVE install. However, it deletes \boot.ini which points to the root folder.
What this means is that if you reboot, windows doesn't know where to look for the OS.
Bit of an Epic cock up
Doesn't affect Vista, Mac or Linux Clients though
Oh and shiney new ships and things
I wish more of you guys were able to see how deep EVE is and play it.
