Not at all, the game has me hooked. The only thing repetative might be some of the indoor colony buildings, but it mixes it up by adding giant metal crates and/or other thrown around objects.

Yeah, the Uncharted Worlds could have been done better, but a lot of the tech behind them wasn't in place during development. I was brought on like midway to fix some problems which ended up getting scrapped because some other systems weren't clearly defined when they were designed at the beginning, resulting in an almost redoing everything, hence the cookie cutter approach due to lack of time. =(

i wonder if there are plans to:

A. Have extra downloadable content. More worlds, side missions and quest hubs would be pretty sweet.

B. Co-op multiplayer! This would be hugely amazing, although probably semi-impossible due to the combat system. you could change the skill trees in multiplayer a little bit so they could be more quickly accessed in real time though, and with the 'map' function, I think it could be done.

oh, and I watched the gf beat Feros last night. her character is a cold hearted bitch, shooting people in the face at the end of dialogues all the time.

Definitely a buy. My brother bought this game for his new 360 and has been playing it non-stop. He's a huge fan of KotR too.

Did anyone catch the strong cthulhu theme with the reapers?

The fact that they come from the void to destroy all higher sentient life, have tentacle appendages on the front of the ship, the indoctrination of followers etc

but I don't think the reapers have as much in common with the Great Old Ones. True, some of them come from space, but Cthulhu slumbers in R'Yleh below the ocean. Also, apart from Nyarlothotep, they don't really give a shit about humans.

They just eat them.
