Looking for some new series

Im looking for some new series to pick up and wanted to check out Gilgamesh. I like the animation (its not the "traditonal" anime look that you usually see looks more serious. Story sounded interesting as well.

Heared Gunslinger Girl was good as well but dont reall know anything about it.

If you guys have seen em plz comment. Any recomendations would be appreciated as well :D

Gunslinger Girl (Italian government uses handicapped girls, turns them into cyborgs and brainwashes them so they kill terrorists for Italy. Basicly loli with guns)
Aria the Animation. (No real plot just great art and fun series to watch)
Black Cat (Great series fast pace good storyline)
Deathnote (Manga only. Great series)
Getbackers (Art is so so for the anime. I prefer the manga over the series)

Haibanei Renmei (Great series beautiful art cool storyline)
Serial Experiments Lain (caution this one is a mnd ****. But nice art)
Alien nine (Random Stroy line nice art fun to watch )
FLCL (Don't ask just watch)
Gokujo Seitokai (Funny series about a student council who ha smore power and authority then the schoo staff)
Mushishi (Awesome art and wicked storylines. each show is wonderfully done)
Samurai Champloo (I must mention since it is awesome)
Ai Yori Aoshi (Love Comedy)
Azumnaga Daioh (pure genius)
Yotsuba&! (Like Azumanga but I.M.O it's better)
