Just wondered if they're done with the fillers?

I stopped watching months ago, but Bleach is getting boring so I wondered if they were back to episodes that "matter" in the storyline.

Episode 182. Be there. (Maybe 183? One of these). As info, this week was 181. 1 or 2 more weeks. Lost track.

Btw, Bleach is doing filler right now too, you might not have known :)

Naruto has been hit and miss. Some of the longer story arches have been really decent and good character development. However, between each arch has been 2-3 episodes of.. well.. stupid :)

Yeah, I figured they were doing fillers too after the puppet-people turned out to be good guys.

IMO, fillers should be a crime.
"Hey, let's keep squeazing money from the show while planning more episodes"
"We could maybe stop for a while, but we only lose respect and the heart of the show by making this storyless, comic reliefed filled crap"

I left Naruto around 130 and went to Bleach and stopped watching that around 58... Thats when fillers started coming out. IMO Bleach fillers (at the point that I stopped watching) were less in # but really frigin weird... I recall one episode where the father asks to sleep with his two daughters :shock:

The bleach filler story-arch didn't start till around 64... Just an FYI, you missed the end of the soul society arch.

Episode 183 was the first episode of season 8 and (supposedly) the last filler, but they weren't 3 years older on the preview of the next episode...

What's up? :(

Are there still more fillers or are the next episodes leading up to the 3 year jump?

They might have one more micro story arc to push in before the fillers stop. Haven't seen 183 yet (dling it now) but it would be wonderful to stop seeing useless episode after useless episode.

My theory is that the fillers are over, but the 3 year jump isn't just yet.

A little more story first.

The preview looked cool though, something about Kiba and a jounin.

Your understanding is lacking. The TV show is based off the Manga. However, the TV show got too far ahead. They made all the "retarded episodes" to allow time for the manga to get further ahead so that they didn't "pass" it.

Still filer is filler, common it's almost as bad as DBZ where the filler episodes was them charging up.
