So just recently me and a few of my buds got together and started jamming. We wanted to create a neo-skiffle band that has influences in all different genres of music.
For instance, our main song writer and guitarist is influenced by Pink Floyd, our drummer is influenced by jazz, our percussionist loves reggae and Operas, and I the bassist, love Funk and classic rock.
We then added a Skiffle element (Skiffle was popular right before rock and roll in the 50s, it is a combination of folk, jazz and rock. Neo-SKiffle is similar to industrial).
People in our local area started to give us a lot of positive comments so we decided to record an album. We got the songs copyrighted and all put together.
I found us some webspace and put the songs up there.
Feel free to give me postive or constructive comments, if you don't like it then that's cool. It isn't for everyone, but don't stop listening half way through, we have lots of different stuff in the album.
The Skiffle Group:

Along with the original 10 songs on the album, we just recorded two more (The Dungeon and I am the Buzzard).
If you know of anybody who might like the stuff, please share it and give them my contact info, I love hearing from people who enjoy our work!
-edit- Thanks for moving the thread.
