Tactical RPG for the Gamecube?

I was watching a friend play a game similar to Final Fantasy Tactics over the weekend, and while I usually don't like these types of games, I now have to urge to play one. Is there a game of this type for the Gamecube?

Not sure of one that matched FFT very well, but there's a new RPG coming out (Already out?) that looks great and I'm looking to buy. Tales of Symphoria (Maybe off on spelling).

It looks pretty good. But its not really the style of FFT..

That is the link for the review of Tales of Symphonia. It got an 8.8, the highest rating ever for a gamecube RPG. That's the winner.

I don't know, this game seems to be a more traditional RPG, something that doesn't hold my interest very long. Oh well, I'm getting over my desire to play a FFT knock off.


Anyway, Mario Tennis is coming out in a month, so I won't have anytime to play anyway.

Your best bet is you buy a used GBA cheap. There are TONS of turn based stragey games for it that rock. FFT, Fire Emblem, Tatical Orge, and Advanced Wars 1&2 come to mind.

Oh yea, and SHining Force is about to get re-released on the GBA.

Nah, if I bought a GBA, I'd just get Super Mario Brothers 3 and never, ever, play anything else. That's the reason I left my SNES at my parents house when I moved out and why my sister won't take it to college. We'd do nothing but play SMB3 and Super Mario World.
