View Full Version : Anyone remember Project Timeless?

I remeber when FCS was still around when someone mentioned this MOD that just came out for its very first beta 1.0..... since then it lived for about 2 weeks but died because it was very unfinished and had many many bugs....

finally after specualtion on wether 1.1 or a new update would come out..... its coming.... with better detail.... gameplay.... less bugs...

they have stated what they started they will finish and if this mod dies again like it did this will be the last update and try again for HL2.... but im giving it another go.....

basically its andriods vs humans in WWIII in the year 2050ish with currecnt weapons for humans like M4, MP5K, and others and for the robots (andriods) they get futuristic weapons like pulse rifles....its CS style rounds but each map has 2-5 subrounds or basically its like a mission but its on the same map... same amount of map space just different objectives for each subround on the same map....

they put the trailer out but it is coming very soon but very soon means 3 months to them but it is finished.... they said 2 months and it took them almost a year....

I should clarify, the soundtrack I'm referring to is in-game, not the trailer.

as goes for the game i hope its gonna be tons better then its very first beta which wasnt THAT horrible but it needed more... it was just too plain with too many bugs like spawning in the other teams spawn point....=/

i hope this will be better because it looks better...

ive already played it..... download is 153 meg but its very fun and much better then the last version

in my opinion just downloading it to get the 4 songs that come with it is worth it if u like band techno kinda music cuz they sound just so kool....

I played v2.0 beta today.

I have to say this mod is pretty impressive, probably one of my favorites now. The idea is great, with the subrounds, androids vs humans. Some of the weapon models are pretty good to IMO.

It's a shame there aren't too many servers.

yea its taken a long time to get hte mod to where it is now..... it was started in 2000 and the first beta 1.0 was released about 9-12 months ago..... 1.0 was ok but 2.0 is very impressive now.... MUCH MUCH more people playing it now but it needs US servers....

this mod was created by people in Germany so most servers are German but they all speak english....
