Vanilla or a mod?

Ok, Call of Duty server is up.

Its a Vanilla 1.4 (with the shell shock turned on).

What I want to know is, should we keep it Vanilla or try one of the mods? :P

I never liked the funky "mod" maps in CS. Playing it straight is the only way IMO :P

I <3 CoD. I'd vote for vanilla, the game is still fairly new, no need to worry about mods yet.

Did they fix bunnyhopping yet though? That was the most annoying thing about playing multiplayer CoD.

yeah, they fixed it .. the GameHavoc server is running 1.4 vanilla (although there is shell shock there which might be residue from when it was on the Pub).

Let me know if you plan to play CoD. I'll join you. I rather miss the game. Commitments in the real World ate up all my time and when I returned, UT2K4 was there ...

me 2 I added the server to my favorites and I can't see it?

I can see the internet list but not the favorte list? This happened right after I applied the 1.4 patch.

Spyder you'll get a kick out of the docs for that 1.4 patch is says that they fixed it where some people can't see the in-game browser! ;-) he he eh maybe not in your case!

no your retard, not the in game browser...the favorites list. in the in game browser theres an option to add a server there to a "favorites list" but theres no way to get to that list...

I see the favorties list no problem before the 1.4 patch. It's just one of the source options of Local, Internet, Favorites!
